TWICC Subcommittees
To address the goals and objectives of the TWICC, four subcommittees were created:
Finance
The purpose of this subcommittee is to coordinate internally among funding agencies and technical assistance providers to discuss co-funding projects. Additionally, the subcommittee works externally with systems seeking financial assistance by reviewing their project profile form, analyzing available program funding opportunities, and recommending strategies to coordinate the financial request among the respective agencies. To request assistance from the TWICC Finance Subcommittee, interested systems must complete the project profile form and submit as instructed on the form.
Targeting & Outreach
The purpose of this subcommittee is to establish priorities for the TWICC, including strategies to assist systems with affordable and innovative technology solutions to comply with Safe Drinking Water Act and Federal Pollution Control Act standards. Additionally, the subcommittee develops marketing and outreach strategies for the TWICC, including website development, representation at events or conferences, and strategies to educate the public about the TWICC's ability to assist systems in need of funding from multi state and/or federal agencies.
Uniform Standards
The purpose of this subcommittee is to analyze overlapping areas to encourage uniformity between the various state and federal financial assistance programs. The Uniform Standards Subcommittee has primarily focused on general requirements that are required for every agency and strategies to provide a single set of requirements for applicants seeking to utilize planning and design documents for phased or combined funding from different agencies.
